36-Ton Omnidirectional Transfer Cart for Steel Plant Logistics

This is a project we completed last October: a 36-ton omnidirectional transfer cartwas used in the steel structure workshop of a client in Hebei Province. This client is a leading local steel processing enterprise, primarily producing steel plates, color-coated steel, and steel pipes. 

The workshop involves heavy materials with frequent turnover, making traditional handling methods insufficient to meet the ever-increasing production pace. The client wanted to shorten material turnaround time and improve overall production efficiency by introducing efficient handling equipment.

During the initial project communication, we discussed with the client the use of ordinary trackless transfer carts, as these are relatively inexpensive and meet daily transportation needs. However, in subsequent communication, the client expressed a greater requirement for a small turning radius due to limited usable aisle space in the workshop. Therefore, they needed a handling cart capable of turning on the spot and supporting lateral movement.

To meet the client's specific requirements, we recommended and customized a 36-ton omnidirectional transfer cart Although the cost was slightly higher than conventional models, its superior flexibility brought a completely new change to workshop handling. It can move forward, backward, turn while moving, traverse sideways, and shift longitudinally within limited space, greatly improving space utilization.

The highlights of this product are as follows:

1. Omnidirectional Mobility: Utilizing a four-wheel design, equipped with two drive motors and two steering motors, it ensures flexible and free steering, supporting on-the-spot turning and lateral movement, easily handling complex workshop environments.
   

2. Wireless Remote Control Operation: Equipped with a wireless remote control system, operators can control the equipment remotely, achieving efficient and precise scheduling and significantly improving work efficiency.

3. Multiple Safety Features: The equipment is equipped with an automatic stop function when encountering people and an audible and visual alarm system, comprehensively ensuring safety during transportation and safe operation in environments where people and vehicles coexist.

After more than three months of actual use, the customer gave our electric transfer cart high praise. They stated that the introduction of this equipment not only significantly shortened steel transportation time but also perfectly integrated into the workshop's production process, achieving high efficiency and precision in material handling operations.
