Project Background:

This project, located in China, involves a client who wanted to use our rail-mounted transport vehicle to move tooling shelves within their workshop. Previously, the client relied primarily on manual handling, which was inefficient and posed safety risks, affecting work progress.

Challenges:

The client used tooling shelves of varying shapes. Even with manual trolleys, the shelves remained unstable and prone to tipping over, making smooth transport difficult.

Solution:

After further communication with the client, we discovered that their workshop already had rail tracks in place. As a result, no major modifications were necessary; a suitable rail-mounted transport vehicle was all that was required, avoiding unnecessary additional costs.

We recommended a 10-ton battery-powered rail-mounted vehicle, designed to match the existing track gauge. This solution perfectly met the client's needs. After conducting an overall cost analysis, our solution was well within the client’s budget. Moreover, the vehicle can operate continuously for 5-6 kilometers when fully loaded and fully charged, fulfilling the client’s transportation requirements.
