5T Self-Propelled Transfer Trolley for Transporting Bundled Steel Rods

In November 2025, we successfully exported a 5T self-propelled transfer trolley for use in a steel plant, where it transports bundled steel rods between the storage and shipping areas.

As shown in the on-site photos, the equipment is fitted with three detachable steel pipe guardrails on each side of the platform. This design enhances the stability of the bundled steel rods during transportation, effectively preventing slippage and avoiding damage caused by shaking or tipping, thereby further improving transport safety.

This transfer trolley adopts a differential drive steering system. Its greatest advantage is the ability to rotate 360° in place with a zero turning radius, making it especially suitable for workshop environments with limited space and complex pathways.

The customer's workshop layout is relatively compact, and the transportation route includes multiple turns and narrow passages. Therefore, this high-mobility design is a key advantage highly appreciated by the customer, allowing the equipment to perform efficient, stable, and safe transportation even in confined spaces.
