16-Ton Rail Mounted Transfer Cart for Motor Handling

This is a 16-ton rail-mounted transfer cart we customized for a power equipment company in Zhejiang Province, primarily used to transport large generators in the client’s workshop. Since the client already had a rail foundation on site, we provided a series of rail-mounted handling equipment to ensure a seamless fit between the equipment and the existing facilities.

Client Needs and Challenges:

The client's workshop had overhead beams, and the generator equipment was quite tall. To ensure the transfer cart could pass smoothly and avoid collisions with workshop facilities, we specially designed a low-platform structure, allowing for efficient and safe transport of equipment even in confined spaces.

Previously, the client mainly relied on manual trolleys to move large equipment. This method not only wasted a lot of manpower but also posed significant safety risks, resulting in low transportation efficiency and severely impacting the overall operational performance of the workshop.

Since switching to our rail transfer cart, material handling efficiency has greatly improved. Operators can easily control the equipment using only a remote control or handle, enhancing work efficiency while reducing the labor intensity. Additionally, the rail-powered system allows the equipment to operate efficiently for extended periods without concerns about battery life.
