15 Ton Rail Transfer Cart For Paper Rolls Transport

The 15-ton rail transfer cart pictured above is a customized transfer equipment designed for a paper mill customer in Shandong. It is primarily used for transporting paper rolls within the customer's internal workshop. As seen in the image, this transfer cart features a low platform, so we have externally mounted the electrical box to accommodate the smaller table size.

This transfer cart adopts a compact structural design and utilizes high-quality cast steel wheels that fit the track perfectly, ensuring stable transportation. Additionally, it is equipped with an infrared obstacle detection system that automatically stops the cart when it senses obstacles or pedestrians beyond the safety range. When no obstacles are detected, it continues moving autonomously along the track.

To secure the paper rolls effectively, we added a large tooling frame to the transfer cart, customized to match the actual shape and size of the paper rolls. This design ensures that during transportation, the paper rolls do not slip due to sudden bumps, significantly reducing safety risks.

For power supply, we use Torch-brand battery packs—ranked among the top three in China—with a configuration of 200Ah (24 pieces, 48V). These batteries support 4-5 hours of full-load operation and require minimal maintenance, only needing periodic battery fluid refills. In the customer's dust-free workshop, this electric transfer cart provides an excellent solution for transporting precision paper rolls.
