15 Ton Rail Flat Cart for Paper Roll Transport

In the paper and packaging industry, the workshop transfer of large-tonnage paper rolls places high demands on the stability, safety, and maneuverability of the equipment. Considering the customer's actual working conditions—including large paper roll diameters, concentrated weight, and fixed transfer routes—we customized a 15-ton rail flat cart specifically for high-frequency transfer operations of paper rolls within the workshop.

Project Background

The customer primarily produces large industrial paper rolls, each with considerable weight and diameter. The original manual trolley transfer method suffered from low efficiency, insufficient stability, and safety hazards. The workshop already had tracks laid, and the customer hoped to optimize transportation using our flat cart.

Solution

Based on the customer's site conditions and paper roll characteristics, we designed this material flat cart. The entire vehicle is built around the core design concept of "low platform + stable load-bearing":

By optimizing the frame structure, the overall platform height of the cart is effectively reduced, lowering the center of gravity of the paper rolls. This significantly improves operational stability during transportation, reduces the risk of swaying, and facilitates loading, unloading, and docking of equipment.

The flat cart platform has reserved installation points for adding fixed brackets or anti-roll blocks as needed, effectively preventing the paper rolls from rolling or shifting during operation and ensuring transportation safety.

The equipment runs along the pre-laid tracks in the workshop with a fixed travel route, making it suitable for fixed-point, repetitive transfer of paper rolls between different processes. It operates smoothly and is easy to use.

Application Results

After being put into use, the industrial rail flat cart effectively replaced the original manual transfer method, significantly improving the efficiency of paper roll transfer, reducing manual labor intensity, and receiving high recognition from the customer in terms of safety and operational stability.
