10-Ton Steel Mill Coil Transporter

Hello everyone! I’m Abby, and today I’d like to share some details about a recent export project of ours: a 10-ton coil transfer cart designed for heavy-duty coil handling in a large-scale steel mill.

The client’s coils measure 2 meters in diameter and 1.25 meters in width, and their requirement was that the cart be capable of transporting a single coil per trip. Additionally, the client specified that the unit must feature a lifting mechanism with a vertical travel range of approximately 90 cm.

To ensure smooth and stable lifting operations, we recommended a scissor-lift structural design. The overall platform dimensions are 3500 mm × 2200 mm × 1200 mm, with a maximum lifting height of 2100 mm—dimensions perfectly tailored to the specific layout and operational environment of the client’s workshop.

Furthermore, to prioritize safety during transport, we equipped the unit with a comprehensive suite of safety features, including overload protection, emergency braking, audible and visual alarms, and infrared sensors that automatically halt the Steel Mill Coil Transporter upon detecting personnel. These measures ensure maximum operational safety during transit, while allowing operators to control the unit remotely from a safe distance.

This unit has now departed and is en route to the client’s workshop. We will continue to closely monitor its progress, maintain constant communication with the client to stay informed of the equipment’s status, and stand ready to provide prompt technical support whenever needed.
