Industrial Rail Transfer Cart for Sandblasting Room

This is a project we completed at the beginning of this year. It primarily involved designing a solution for a shipbuilding industry customer to transport materials within their sandblasting room. The customer has been using the equipment for over three months, and today, we'd like to briefly review the project.

The customer is a ship manufacturer based in Nantong. Since their process involves sandblasting steel plates for ship hulls, relying on manual labor posed significant safety risks, and traditional forklifts were unsuitable for these working conditions. Through a peer referral, they contacted us, hoping to customize an industrial transfer cart to address this challenge.

After evaluating the customer's needs and actual transportation requirements, we recommended our rail series transfer carts for two key reasons. First, in such specialized working conditions, rail transfer carts offer greater stability. Second, since the transportation route is relatively fixed, this solution optimizes costs while remaining highly practical.

The equipment features large-diameter cast steel wheels to ensure a tight fit with the tracks, providing stable support for safe operation. We also applied professional sealing and dustproof treatments to the motor and electrical components, with the motor featuring an explosion-proof design. These measures ensure the equipment's reliable performance under these demanding conditions.

This custom transfer cart has significantly improved material transportation efficiency in the customer's sandblasting room. We expect the equipment to continue delivering long-term value at the customer's site and look forward to their further feedback.
