1 Ton Flexible Transfer Cart for Efficient Tobacco Transportation

A Spanish tobacco factory has been dedicated to tobacco production for decades, processing tens of thousands of tons of raw materials—including cigarettes—annually. However, as the business continued to grow, efficient material transfer within the factory remained a challenge. Traditional fuel-powered forklifts were bulky, difficult to maneuver in narrow aisles, and unsuitable for handling the packaging boxes. Loading and unloading processes were time-consuming, which reduced transfer efficiency and increased labor costs. The factory urgently needed a flexible transfer cart.

To address these issues, we customized a 1-ton trackless transfer cart solution. Measuring 1200 × 1000 × 400 mm, this cart perfectly matches the dimensions of the commonly used raw material pallets and packaging boxes. It can carry up to 1 ton per trip, fully meeting the factory's need for short-distance bulk transfers. Its all-electric drive system completely eliminates the odor and exhaust emissions associated with fuel-powered equipment, and its low operating noise significantly improves the working environment on the factory floor.

Since its introduction, the transfer cart's flexible steering has allowed it to maneuver effortlessly between complex production lines and storage areas, eliminating the need for frequent route adjustments. Its smooth operation significantly reduces the risk of spilled tobacco raw materials and damaged packaging, resulting in a 15% reduction in cargo loss.

Furthermore, the electric drive system offers significant advantages in energy efficiency, reducing monthly operating costs by approximately 32%. The industrial  transfer cart can operate continuously for six hours on a single charge, meeting the company's production and transfer needs.
