30 Ton Material Transfer Cart For Stone Industry

This is a project we completed in Mexico for a client primarily in the stone processing industry. During their production process, they faced challenges with cross-workshop transportation. Traditional transfer equipment often caused stone wobbling due to uneven floors, and the wheels wore out quickly with poor steering stability. This not only affected transport efficiency but also frequently led to collisions with stone edges. 

To address this issue, we customized a 30-ton trackless transfer cart to optimize transportation. It has now become a core piece of equipment for material handling within the client's workshop.

This cart is specifically designed for transporting the client's finished stone products. Its key advantage lies in its hydraulic steering system. Compared to mechanical steering, hydraulic control enables smoother and more precise steering. Even when fully loaded with 30 tons of finished marble and granite products, it can navigate corners in workshop aisles with ease, effectively preventing stone shifting due to abrupt steering and significantly improving transport stability.

Considering the slight floor variations and wear marks across the client's workshop, the transfer cart is equipped with 500mm-diameter rubber wheels. The wheels are made of highly wear-resistant rubber, achieving an ideal balance of hardness and elasticity. They can withstand the pressure of heavy stone while also absorbing vibrations caused by uneven surfaces. This significantly extends the wheel lifespan and reduces the customer's ongoing maintenance costs.

To further ensure the safety of finished stone products, the electric transfer cart's platform is fully fitted with anti-slip rubber pads. The anti-slip pattern on the pads enhances friction between the stone and the platform, securely holding the material in place even during starts and stops. This completely eliminates the slipping and bumping issues associated with traditional stone transport.

According to customer feedback, since its implementation, the workshop has seen a 32% increase in stone transport efficiency and a reduction in finished product loss to below 0.6%. This material transfer cart from Peisa Machinery perfectly meets the production needs of the stone industry!
