10-Ton Omnidirectional Transfer Vehicle for Transformer Handling

In a recent project, we provided a customized 10-ton omnidirectional transfer vehicle for a client in Jiangsu Province, specifically designed for transporting transformers. The vehicle’s design fully considered the client’s workshop space constraints and operational needs, providing a more flexible and efficient transportation solution.

During our communication with the client, we learned that their workshop space was relatively small, and they needed to perform frequent longitudinal and lateral transport operations. Traditional hydraulically-steered transfer vehicles, due to their large turning radius, could not meet the client’s need for flexible operation within the limited space. Therefore, we decided to offer them an omnidirectional transfer vehicle solution.

The transfer cart uses steering wheels and features an extremely small turning radius. It can not only travel forward, backward, laterally, and longitudinally but can also be precisely controlled via remote control within a 50-meter range. Its most significant feature is its ability to rotate 360° on the spot, offering greater steering flexibility and significantly improving handling efficiency compared to traditional trackless transfer vehicles.
