Operating an automated transfer cart demands a certain level of technical knowledge and experience. Smaller plants may lack in-house expertise or trained personnel. In contrast, wireless remote-controlled transfer carts are simple to operate and user-friendly, allowing operators to get started quickly.

3.Maintenance

Conventional industrial transfer carts have a simple structure and relatively low maintenance costs. However, maintaining intelligent transfer vehicles often requires specialized technicians, tools, and equipment—resources that smaller factories may not readily possess.

In summary, automated transfer carts may not always be the most suitable option for smaller factories. Conventional transfer carts could better meet their practical needs and constraints. That said, in large, smart factories, AGVs can significantly boost production efficiency, reduce labor costs, and simplify material flow management—especially when backed by adequate technical support and experience.
